Welcome to Jefferson Primary School where Together, We Celebrate Doing Our Best to be Respectful, Responsible Learners.
We will be “doing our best” to attend to each child’s needs, as well as the over-all performance of our building and classrooms. Your participation is crucial. Over the years we have found no stronger data for success than that of parent involvement. For children to be successful you must be an ACTIVE participant in their learning. This means you will need to spend time helping them to read, write, and do math. Learning needs to be the expectation from your home to school and vice-versa. Be sure to be a P.A.L. (Parent Active in Learning) for your child! You will see us start setting the expectation right at the classroom door. Teachers will be asking your child, “Why are you here today?” The response should be an excited exclamation, “To LEARN!” and this is what we all will build success upon.
